You play,
we broadcast
With a DJ set the sound from the desk decides, not the sound from the camera. LED colour, several cameras — for sets that go live or live on as video.

A set recorded in the living room sounds like a living room.
Recording a DJ set needs two things at once: lighting that answers the beat, and sound that does not clip when it gets louder. The music alone does not carry a stream.
Why the sound must not come from the camera
The most common mistake in DJ videos is the one you hear first: the camera records the room, not the desk. What comes out is a recording of the speakers, wall, audience and everything else that happened to be there.
So the line signal runs straight from the desk and separately from the picture. Only then can the recording be mixed properly afterwards rather than merely loud. How the studio is set up →
Lighting that suits the set
You build the lighting yourself before the stream, from an iPad in the room. Colours, intensity and movement get set so they work with the music rather than against it.
Three cameras run at once. You switch between the wide, the desk and the close-up while you play — or book somebody to take that over.
One set, two uses
The stream goes straight out and the recording runs alongside. One set therefore produces the broadcast and the material for cut-downs at the same time, without playing twice.
For the clips it pays to place moments deliberately: a transition where something happens, a look into the lens. A set that simply runs rarely delivers on its own the thirty seconds you want to lift out of it afterwards.
What a broadcast day costs
For a set with a soundcheck and time to build the lighting, most people plan a half day. The playing itself is the shortest part of it. What a half day costs here →

5 out of 5 stars
Exceeded my expectations by some way — the studio is a place where you feel at home immediately, and Sven, Dennis and their team make that very easy. A thoroughly modern shooting location with a great atmosphere.

Quick answers
Can I bring my own equipment?+
Your desk or your controller, yes — that is your instrument. Tell us your setup in advance and the right connection will be ready. Studio gear such as lighting, cameras and microphones we provide.
Is the sound recorded separately?+
Yes, the line signal is captured separately from the camera sound.
Can it go out live?+
Yes. We stream on a redundant connection, and vision mixing is worth adding.
