On foot from the main station

Hanover is an ICE hub, and we are within the station's orbit: out of the hall heading west onto Ernst-August-Platz, along Kurt-Schumacher-Straße for a good 200 metres, then right.

By plane

Half an hour from the airport

The S-Bahn station sits under the terminal, the S5 runs every 30 minutes and stops at the main station. No changes, no hire car, no hunting for a parking space: from the gate to our door is a good half hour.

By car

Two exits off the A2

From exit 44 Hannover/Langenhagen it is straight down Vahrenwalder Straße for a good six kilometres until it becomes Arndtstraße. From exit 42 Hannover-Herrenhausen the Westschnellweg runs south, over Bremer Damm and Königsworther Platz. From Arndtstraße the route is the same: Herschelstraße, Brüderstraße, Herrenstraße. The last of those is one-way at 30 km/h and can only be entered from Brüderstraße.

Parking

We have none of our own

Herrenstraße and everything around it is metered, and a space rarely comes free. Four car parks are closer to our door than the main station is — if you would rather not start a shooting day on your third lap of the block, head straight for one of them.

For loading and unloading you drive into the yard. Cases and crates do not have to cross the street.

Staying over

Book several days at once

Four hotels are within walking distance, the nearest on the corner of our street. That makes a bigger production plannable: two or three days back to back instead of spread over weeks — build once, leave the set standing, and walk a few metres in the evening rather than across town. The discounts from four and eight hours apply on each individual day.
