Vertical,
one after another
Reels and shorts only work in series. Five backgrounds, set up vertical — half a day produces the content you would otherwise spend weeks on.

Short video only works in series.
One reel a month moves nothing; twenty do. What defeats people who want reels that add up is rarely the idea — it is the effort. Set lights, chase sound and clear the background for every single video, and you give up after three weeks.

Why reels only work in series
The platforms reward frequency, not perfection. One very good video reaches fewer people than ten decent ones released days apart. That is uncomfortable, because it moves the work from the idea to the calendar.
Which is exactly where most content plans fail: not on the concept, but on every single video starting from zero again. The answer is not more discipline. It is less setting up.
What to prepare for a shooting day
A list of subjects is enough. No script, no storyboards. What does help: one sentence per subject to open with, and one to end on. Everything in between comes out while you talk.
Anyone naming a lot of figures or names adds the teleprompter. Anyone changing clothes brings three tops and has three shooting days on screen without coming in three times. How the studio is set up →

Vertical from the start
Cropping a landscape video to vertical rarely ends well: the hands fall outside the frame, the head sticks to the top edge, and the graphic that had room in landscape is gone. Make 9:16 in the edit and you lose half the picture and all of the framing with it.
So it is shot vertical rather than cropped vertical. When the same scene is also needed in landscape, two cameras run side by side instead of one after the other.

What a shooting day yields
In four hours most people come away with fifteen to thirty clips. That is the point where the arithmetic turns over: the individual video stops costing time, and the appointment starts — and that only happens once.
Then there is the edit. Subtitles, cropping and audio are the bulk of the work on short video, and they are the part you are most likely to hand over. What a shooting day costs here →

5 out of 5 stars
Exceeded my expectations by some way — the studio is a place where you feel at home immediately, and Sven, Dennis and their team make that very easy. A thoroughly modern shooting location with a great atmosphere.

Quick answers
Why at least four hours?+
Building and lighting takes time. In a shorter slot the effort would be out of all proportion to the recording.
Can I use greenscreen instead of colour?+
Yes, both are in the same room. Tell us what you need with your enquiry.
Is there a teleprompter?+
Yes, the Elgato Teleprompter XL — it lives in Studio A and can be used here too.
Tell us what
you have in mind
We answer within 24 hours. The enquiry commits you to nothing.
